Job summary

obs in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, build, and support Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions. You will work with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Microsoft Power Platform architectures.

Responsibilities include integration with SharePoint Online, SQL databases, and REST APIs, plus governance, testing, and deployment support. Prior experience in Agile/Scrum and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Power Apps Developer, Power Platform Developer, or similar Microsoft development role.
• Strong experience with Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps in Power Apps.
• Extensive experience with Power Automate.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint Online.
• Experience integrating with SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Proficient in data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Experience with Azure services or DevOps is advantageous.
• Candidates with Power Platform certifications are preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to quality.

Job description

You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of Microsoft Power Platform development, ensuring business applications, workflows, and reporting solutions are designed, developed, maintained, and continuously improved in line with business requirements, governance standards, and best practices. This may at times extend beyond the duties listed below to ensure project deadlines, quality standards, and business objectives are consistently met.

You will manage the day-to-day development, enhancement, and support of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reporting solutions, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly applications that improve operational efficiency and automate business processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

This role requires maintaining and enhancing existing Power Platform solutions, integrating applications with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL databases, and third-party systems, while supporting reporting and dashboard development using Power BI.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).

• Perform data modelling, report enhancements, and dashboard maintenance within Power BI.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Optimise existing applications and workflows to improve performance, usability, and reliability.
• Configure and maintain security roles, permissions, and governance within the Microsoft Power Platform environment.
• Perform system testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate production deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and user guides.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed timelines.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to existing business processes.
• Provide end-user support and training where required.
• Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates, features, and best practices, recommending continuous improvements.
• Utilise tools such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Azure, Microsoft Teams, and other business applications to develop and support business solutions.

Support ad hoc development, system enhancement, automation, and technical projects as required by management.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Power Apps Developer, Power Platform Developer, or similar Microsoft development role.
• Strong experience developing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, SQL databases, and REST APIs.
• Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Good understanding of data modelling, DAX, and Power Query is highly regarded.
• Experience working with Azure services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Power Pages, Copilot Studio, or Dynamics 365 integrations is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications are advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
