Job summary

Vertiv Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to provide technical and quotation support for Power Systems Studies opportunities. You will review project requirements, assist with scope validation, develop estimates, and support Change Order requests while escalating non-standard needs as required.

Working with the PSE team and other stakeholders, you will help ensure accurate pricing, timely responses, and disciplined documentation, while participating in training and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in quotation development, bid support, technical sales support, estimating, or related engineering functions.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, and proficiency with MS Office.
• Willingness to learn power systems fundamentals and quotation processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quote configurations, estimates, and supporting documentation for Power Systems Studies opportunities.
• Review project requirements and study specifications to validate scope, pricing, assumptions, and deliverables.
• Support Change Order (CO) quotation activities, engineering research, and scope validation efforts for the Power Systems Engineering (PSE) team.
• Identify incomplete, conflicting, or non-standard requirements and elevate concerns to senior team members as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of assigned requests and provide timely status updates using established tracking tools.
• Collaborate with ERS/HVM Sales, the Bid Center, PSE, and other internal stakeholders to support project and customer requirements.
• Assist in maintaining team documentation, technical references, standards, and process materials.
• Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to support team effectiveness and service quality.
