Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a highly driven Product Engineering Technician to support the Product Engineering function with a focus on Power Supply Units (PSUs). This role serves as the technical interface between design engineering and manufacturing operations to ensure PSU products meet performance, quality, and reliability standards from development through high-volume production.

The technician will report to the Product Engineer and contribute to sustaining and improving PSU designs through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Technology in Electronics.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of PSU issues.
• Product characterization under varying operating conditions.
• Calibration and testing procedures support.
• Prepare clear test reports with data analysis and recommendations.
• Bench setup and wiring of peripherals for PSU testing.
• Follow internal factory procedures and standards (6S, EMS, RBA).
