Job summary

Marsh in Mexico seeks an experienced PostgreSQL IT professional to join our team. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days in the office.

You will install PostgreSQL on Linux, create databases and objects, manage users/roles, and implement backup and recovery. You will collaborate with offshore teams and communicate effectively.

Strong written and spoken English is expected, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience planning and executing installation of PostgreSQL server.
• Experience implementing backup and recovery.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Install PostgreSQL on Linux servers.
• Create, update, and drop PostgreSQL databases and objects.
• Create, update, and drop users and roles.
• Understand PostgreSQL backup and recovery processes.
• Work with an offshore team for smooth handover.
• Demonstrate strong communication and English proficiency.
