Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Junior PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join the Information Technology team in a hybrid role in Mexico. The position requires at least three days in the office weekly and supports a global team across AUS, UK, Canada and the US.

You will work independently on PostgreSQL environments, focusing on databases, objects, users, and recovery processes while communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience installing PostgreSQL on Linux servers.
• Experience implementing backup and recovery.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Install PostgreSQL on Linux servers.
• Create, update, and drop PostgreSQL databases and objects.
• Create, update and drop users and roles.
• Understand and implement PostgreSQL backup and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with an offshore team to ensure smooth handovers.
