Job summary

Saxo Bank in India is seeking a Corporate Actions Operations professional to join the Back-office Operations team. You will handle end-to-end CA event processing, client communications, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate payouts for equity, bonds and CFD positions.

The team comprises about 45 members across India and Denmark, with shifts including 9 AM to 11 PM. This role offers exposure to a global, multi-asset platform and opportunities for career growth within Saxo’s international network.

Qualifications

  • 1.5 to 4 years of experience in investment banking operations with corporate actions exposure.
  • Familiarity with due diligence, client reporting and regulatory tasks is a plus.
  • Strong communication, accuracy and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Understand corporate actions events, notify clients within SLA and process events accurately.
  • Reconciling cash and stock breaks for Stocks and CFD; ensure correct payouts.
  • Collaborate with back-office team and maintain effective client communication.

Job description

Location - Gurugram (On-site) Saxo is a global, multi-asset facilitator providing access to global capital markets and products for all our clients through a truly scalable technology infrastructure supporting traders, investors, and wholesale clients. The successful applicant for this job will be joining Saxo Bank’s Operations department in India, whose overall purpose is to handle processes, systems and work related to clients’ due diligence, platform configurations, client reporting, clients’ funds bookings, trade processing, regulatory reporting and product lifecycle. Corporate Actions team is part of Back-office Operations Department in India, and here we are handling end to end processing of corporate actions event starting from notifying the clients and till the resolution of cash and stock breaks on equity, bonds and CFD positions. Our main tasks are notifying the clients and receiving and submitting the elections from the client to custodian and processing on clients account the relevant payout and cash/stock reconciliation.

The team consists of 45 members located in India and Denmark.

Responsibilities

Understanding corporate actions events both voluntary and mandatory and its terms and conditions. Notifying the clients regarding the corporate events within the SLA. Correctly processing the CA events within the defined SLA. Reconciliation of Cash and stock breaks of Stocks and CFD.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a person with knowledge of Investment banking operations including basic knowledge of Income and mandatory corporate actions with relevant experience of 1.5 to 4 year. Strong and effective communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient computer skills using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet. Ability to work independently, as well as maintain a positive working relationship with the team. Perform multiple tasks under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality or accuracy. Good understanding of corporate actions process. Currently we have three shifts starting from 9 AM till 11 PM. Candidate should be flexible to work in different shift timings.
