Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pasig for a Portfolio Planning & Management Associate. The associate provides end-to-end portfolio support across intake and prioritization, portfolio planning and alignment, and portfolio performance monitoring and reporting. The role is designed to establish and sustain portfolio discipline, visibility, and baseline decision support for CRS leadership, ensuring initiatives are aligned to strategy, customer journeys, and value objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end intake process for proposed initiatives, ensuring submissions meet defined entry criteria and documentation standards.
- Validate completeness of business cases, benefits outlines, scope definitions, and high-level delivery assumptions.
- Apply approved prioritization criteria and scoring models to support comparative assessment of initiatives.
- Prepare intake summaries, evaluation packs, and decision logs for portfolio governance forums.
- Maintain a consolidated view of the CRS portfolio, including initiatives, timelines, milestones, and key dependencies.
- Map initiatives to CRS priorities, customer journeys, and strategic objectives, flagging misalignments or overlaps.
- Support high-level tracking of resource demand (budget and capacity) and sequencing considerations.
- Collect, consolidate, and validate delivery, financial, and benefits data across portfolio initiatives.
- Track progress against agreed milestones, KPIs, and benefits realization indicators.
- Identify emerging risks, delays, or data inconsistencies and elevate to portfolio leads as needed.
- Prepare standardized portfolio dashboards and management reports for regular governance cycles.
Qualifications
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields, with postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or CFA progress as a strong asset.
- Well versed in strategic planning and financial analysis, including evaluating business cases using NPV, IRR, and ROI.
- Experienced in managing portfolio structures, prioritization frameworks, initiative taxonomies, and strategic roadmaps aligned to KPIs and customer journeys.
- Supports portfolio governance cycles end to end, including intake QA, preparation of evaluation materials, facilitation of review forums, and maintaining decision records.
- Skilled in identifying cross‑initiative risks, resource constraints, sequencing issues, and delivery dependencies across programs.
- Proficient with Excel financial modeling, portfolio analytics, and creating executive‑level dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau, with hands‑on experience in PPM tools (ServiceNow SPM, Planview, Jira Align, MS Project Online).
- Brings 4–8 years of PMO/Portfolio/Program Management experience, ideally in regulated or asset‑intensive industries, with a track record of enhancing portfolio effectiveness and reporting quality.
- Holds or is pursuing project/portfolio certifications such as CAPM, Agile/Scrum, PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, or PfMP.
