Job summary

Jollibee Worldwide Services - Logistics is seeking a Pollution Control and Safety Officer / EHS Specialist to lead the implementation of safety and environmental policies across the organization. Responsibilities include regular inspections of safety appliances, audits, EHS program monitoring, trainings, orientations, and coordinating the Emergency Response Team in Bicutan, Parañaque.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with relevant certifications, 2+ years in environmental and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Environmental and Safety regulations, Risk Management, Emergency response, and Electrical Safety hands-on in logistics or food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate implementation of safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Inspect safety appliances (fire extinguishers, emergency lights, exit signs).
• Conduct safety and environmental audits and close findings.
• Assist in EHS programs implementation and monitoring.
• Coordinate and facilitate EHS trainings and orientations.
• Conduct Basic Safety Orientations and Contractors' Orientations.
• Arrange additional trainings as required.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions related to incidents and audit findings.
• Support Emergency Response Team needs and responses.

Job description

The Pollution Control and Safety Officer or Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist will facilitate implementation of safety and environmental policies and procedures, including other systems that would enhance the safety and environmental performance of the organization.

• Ensure regular inspection and proper management of safety appliances, including fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and exit signs.

• Conduct routine safety and environmental audits and facilitate timely closure of findings.

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of EHS programs.

• Coordinate and facilitate EHS trainings.

• Conduct Basic Safety Orientations and Contractors' Orientations.

• Arrange additional trainings as required by the organization.

• Implement corrective and preventive actions related to accidents, incidents, audit findings, and observations.

• Support and respond to the needs and requirements of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or any related course.

• At least 2 years of experience in Environmental and Safety regulations, Risk Management, and Emergency response, and Electrical Safety hands-on experience in a logistics or food manufacturing industry; experience from other industries are welcome to apply.

• Must be an accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and Level 2 Safety Officer (SO) certification.

• Must have hands‑on experience in Electrical Safety.

• Willing to be assigned in Bicutan, Parañaque.
