Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in plumbing design.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit; producing coordinated BIM models and construction documentation.
• Experience with U.S.-based projects and data centers is advantageous.
• Written and spoken English at B1 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Model plumbing systems in BIM and coordinate with other disciplines; hands-on Autodesk Revit experience is a must.
• Develop plumbing layouts and detailed designs for mission-critical facilities.
• Model domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm drainage, and other plumbing systems.
• Develop piping layouts, equipment connections, riser diagrams, and system schematics.
• Perform plumbing calculations and support sizing for equipment and piping.
• Produce coordinated BIM models and construction drawings.
• Support design development and construction; occasional site visits.

This isanongoing contractual engagement with aUS-based company and isnot limited toasingle project. The role involves continuous collaboration across multiple mission-critical projects, based onbusiness needs.

You will provide services asanindependent, self-employed professional under aformal independent contractor agreement.

Role Summary:

Weare seeking askilled Plumbing Designer tosupport the design, modeling, and coordination ofplumbing systems for cutting-edge data center projects across the U.S.

Inthis role, you will beresponsible for developing plumbing system layouts and BIM models, preparing drawings and technical documentation, and coordinating plumbing systems with other engineering disciplines.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams inacollaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from schematic design through detailed design and execution.

Strong technical expertise inplumbing design, proficiency with BIM tools, attention todetail, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Using BIM tools tomodel plumbing systems and coordinate with other disciplines; hands-on Autodesk Revit experience is amust.
• Developing plumbing system layouts and detailed designs for mission-critical facilities.
• Designing and modeling domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm drainage, and other plumbing systems.
• Developing plumbing piping layouts, equipment connections, riser diagrams, and system schematics.
• Performing plumbing calculations and supporting equipment and piping sizing.
• Producing coordinated BIM models and construction drawings.
• Developing athorough understanding and delivery ofproject requirements asthey relate toscope, cost, and schedule.
• Determining and expediting engineering deliverables for projects.
• Developing and maintaining project scope ofwork documentation and revisions asrequired during design evolution.
• Coordinating plumbing systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.
• Identifying and resolving design and coordination issues within the BIM environment.
• Ensuring designs comply with applicable plumbing, building, and project-specific codes and standards.
• Preparing technical documentation required for project execution, including drawings, schedules, specifications, calculations, and equipment data.
• Reviewing shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design intent.
• Supporting project teams throughout design development and construction.
• Performing occasional site visits tosupport construction progress (valid U.S. work visa considered anasset but not required).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Abachelor’s ormaster’s degree inengineering orarelated technical field.
• Atleast 3 years ofexperience inplumbing design.
• Proven experience designing and modeling plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, ormission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of domestic water, sanitary, vent, and storm drainage systems.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit- is amust.
• Experience producing coordinated BIM models and construction documentation.
• Understandingofapplicable plumbing and building codes and standards.
• Experience coordinating plumbing systems with other engineering disciplines.
• Experience with U.S.-based projects and data centers isconsidered anadvantage.
• Written and spoken English B1 and higher.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
