Job summary

Sunpride Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled plumber to install, repair, and maintain our plumbing systems across facilities. You will diagnose leaks, read blueprints and codes, and ensure safe, compliant work.

You will assemble pipes, test systems, and provide estimates for projects, with emphasis on safety and efficiency; regularization benefits apply after probation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in tight spaces or heights.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and drainage problems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and specifications.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
• Operate hand and power tools, including pipe cutters and threading machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Provide cost estimates and timelines for plumbing projects.
