This leader will head the DND procurement team in the Philippines, driving performance across productivity, supply, quality, and key commodity localization. Collaborating globally, they will manage diverse categories (tooling, spares, stamping, molding, die casting) and integrate commodity/supplier strategies. A key priority is to accelerate localization to shorten lead times, meet local sourcing demands, and reduce inventory. The role demands influencing internal (Engineering, Quality, Product Marketing) and external stakeholders to achieve procurement goals (cost, supply, quality, localization, risk resilience), all managed under the SET (Strategy, Execution, Talent) framework.
This procurement leader drives the performance of the organization, focusing on productivity, supply, quality, and localization
They develop and manage localized supplier relationships, leading material localization for cost reduction and delivery flexibility. They execute competitive bidding, negotiation, and contracting for direct materials, collaborating with Engineering and Manufacturing on NPI projects
This role serves as an escalation point for delivery/quality issues, implements key Supply Chain Metrics (STR, Commercial Productivity, DLPM), and leads quarterly supplier scorecard reviews to improve performance. They develop new/existing suppliers to meet material, volume, and capacity needs, ensuring audits and quality.
They work with Quality to resolve NPI supplier issues pre-introduction and communicate with Sales and Design Engineering to mitigate supply chain risks
This individual ensures compliance with TE policies, enforces company processes, and oversees, delegates, and evaluates employee performance, fostering a high-performing, globally-minded team, and acting as a change agent.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Engineering discipline required
10+ years of experience in advanced procurement. Experience in supply chain management ispreferred.
5+ years of management experience
Global exposure in previous roles is required
A graduate degree in business (i.e., MBA) is preferred
