Job summary

Viventis Search Asia is seeking a seasoned Plant Finance Manager in Metro Manila to lead monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses, aligning finance with plant operations to drive performance.

You will oversee cost control, inventory accuracy, and ERP-based financial processes while guiding a finance team and collaborating with corporate finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure robust governance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably manufacturing/FMCG.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Strong background in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of plant transactions and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Partner with plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational performance.
• Review product costing and recommend actions to improve margins and profitability.
• Manage the plant's annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Monitor capital expenditures and evaluate financial feasibility of plant projects.
• Lead and develop the plant finance team and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with corporate finance, supply chain, operations, and other departments on financial matters.
