ECO SAVERS GROUP VENTURES INC. is hiring a Plant Accountant to oversee accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all financial transactions for the assigned plant/branch.

The role supports month-end close, financial statements, inventory controls, and internal audits, ensuring compliance with policies and internal controls. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, strong reconciliation and inventory costing skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and reconciliation.
• Good understanding of inventory and cost accounting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• Knowledge of LPG, manufacturing, or FMCG industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries for plant/branch transactions and perform month-end closing activities within the prescribed deadline.
• Prepare the assigned plant/branch Financial Statements and related schedules, reviewing data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain records of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, prepaid expenses, and other relevant accounts.
• Maintain PPE schedule, monitoring asset acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, and disposals.
• Review Daily Sales Reports and validate sales against receipts, collections, and deposits.
• Check cash and collections, monitor deposits, and report discrepancies promptly.
• Check LPG, cylinders, inventory, and reconcile records with operations reports.
• Ensure compliance with Finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure proper recording of transactions in financial reports.
• Provide reports, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for audits.
