Job summary

EEI Corporation in Metro Manila is seeking a seasoned Planning Engineer to review tender documents, schedules and interfaces with BU PMT. You will verify Baseline and Current Schedules, ensure weekly updates in EPPM, and support EVM data and resource planning.

The ideal candidate holds a Professional License in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical), has 3–4 years in planning/engineering/construction, and is proficient in Primavera P6, Pert-CPM analysis and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must possess Professional License in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical).
• Basic to intermediate skills in Primavera P6, Pert-CPM Analysis, MS Office; Oracle Project Mgt.
• 3–4 years in planning/engineering/construction.
• Knowledgeable in project planning (Primavera P6), monitoring, scheduling, resource and cost loading.
• Knowledge in material identification.
• Familiar with Estimation, Quality Control, HR & Procurement Procedures and company policies.
• Basic knowledge in contracts, change orders, variations and claims.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Willing to render overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in review of Tender Documents, Drawings, Zoning/Methodologies and provide inputs to BU's Planning Team.
• Participate in project meetings: briefing, Construction Methodology, Schedule Review.
• Perform schedule analysis using Schedule Health Checklist for Bid Schedule prior bid review.
• Perform schedule analysis for Baseline and Current Schedule.
• Generate Schedule Health Report.
• Review resource requirements with BU-Planners.
• Review schedule constraints with BU-Planners.
• Contribute to development of standard sequences of work, activity descriptions, durations, etc.
• Debug schedule logic and identify delays.
• Integrate engineering, purchasing and procurement into schedule.
• Provide data for EVM, Resources and Business Analytics Programme.
