Job summary

Unilab, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Supply Planners/Buyer (ESFG Planning Analyst I) to ensure finished goods availability aligns with demand and to maintain safe buffer stocks.

The role involves planning and buying, coordinating with Demand, SMM, Manufacturing, and QA to resolve supply gaps and provide multi-month plans supporting marketing objectives. • Review supply plan for 17 months for basis of materials plan and buying plan.
• Coordinate with Demand, SMM, Manufacturing and QA to resolve supply gaps.

Designation: Supply Planners/Buyer

Position description: ESFG Planning Analyst I

Primary Responsibilities: Ensures supply availability of finished goods based on demand requirements and ensures there is buffer stocks

Output/Deliverable: To maintain enough inventory level of Finished Goods to support the respective Marketing Divisions' business objective without having too much working capital tied to inventory and prevent obsolescence.

Output/Deliverable: To minimize obsolescence during Phasing In and Phasing Out.

Provides the supply plan for Manufacturing as basis of capacity planning, production planning and scheduling, and for SMM as basis for materials plans. Ensures completeness of materials for production orders.

Output/Deliverable: To provide Monthly Production Plan supported with Materials submitted every 10th of the month to Manufacturing. To review Supply Plan for 17 months for basis of materials plan and buying plan.

Identifies critical drivers of inventory issues, and develops appropriate corrective actions based on SOPs.

Output/Deliverable: To maintain an inventory that is within the target days’ supply per brand and mitigate risks that would result to imbalances on inventory holding or OS.

Coordinates with Demand, SMM, Manufacturing, QA and other enablers in determining solutions for the supply gaps and other supply concerns.

Output/Deliverable: To assist the task force in resolving supply issues, mitigating risk, and aligning the Demand, SMM, Manufacturing and QA plans and projects.
