Job summary

Island Souvenirs, Inc. is seeking a Demand Planner to analyze demand drivers and generate forecasts for all revenue centers. You will review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, and maintain inventory targets to support production planning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Generate production stocks from sales history to meet demand across revenue centers.
• Review historical sales trends and research demand drivers.
• Develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast results.
• Evolve and maintain SOPs for demand planning processes.
• Monitor SKU levels and advise SKU rationalization.
• Coordinate with Sales to reach consensus on forecasts.
• Adjust forecasts and inventory targets based on demand changes.
• Maintain inventory targets including safety stock levels.
• Perform other tasks as needed.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Demand Planner position is responsible in analyzing the drivers of demand in order to generate and evaluate a forecast for a particular product or service. Prepares and reviews historical sales trends and maintains sales inventory targets for all revenue centers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible in generating stocks to be produced based from sales history to fulfill the demand of all revenue centers;

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models and evaluate forecast result;

• Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems;

• Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU to rationalize in the future;

• Coordinate and consensus approach with Sales personnel;

• Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory target based on changes in demand and market trends;

• Maintain inventory targets including safety stock levels of all revenue centers.

• Perform other tasks as maybe required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate in BS Industrial Engineering, BS Math or equivalent courses.

• Knowledgeable in planning tools or software applications such as MRP, ERP or SAP.

• With at least 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Department.

• A team player with good analytical and planning skills.

• Can handle work demands and deadlines.

• Can start as soon as possible
