Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Makati, Manila, Philippines seeks a Pipeline / Welding & NDT Inspector for a project-based role. You will inspect welding and NDT activities, verify procedures, and witness examinations to ensure compliance with project specs and industry standards.

Ideal candidates hold a 3-year diploma or 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI, and have extensive QA/QC experience in pipelines, welding & NDT, with willingness to travel for

Qualifications

• 3-year diploma or 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Diploma holders: 12+ years QA/QC in Pipeline/Welding/NDT, 8+ years in Oil & Gas.
• Bachelor holders: 10+ years QA/QC in Pipeline/Welding/NDT, 6+ years in Oil & Gas.
• Valid CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipeline welding and NDT activities per specs and standards.
• Verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, fit-ups, weld quality, and NDT reports.
• Witness RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT examinations.
• Review quality records and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Pipeline / Welding & NDT Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipeline welding and NDT activities in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, fit-ups, weld quality, and NDT reports.
• Witness RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT examinations.
• Review quality records, identify non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications

• 3-Year Diploma or 4-Year Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Diploma Holders: Minimum 12 years QA/QC experience in Pipeline, Welding & NDT, including 8 years in Oil & Gas.
• Bachelor's Degree Holders: Minimum 10 years QA/QC experience in Pipeline, Welding & NDT, including 6 years in Oil & Gas.
• Valid CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant inspection experience after certification.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection, NDT methods, WPS, PQR, WPQ, and pipeline construction.
• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.

Preferred

Experience in pipeline, refinery, petrochemical, EPC, or oil & gas construction projects.
