Job summary

Filoil Logistics Corporation in Manila is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to perform welding and fabrication on pipelines, tanks, and associated components at the petroleum terminal.

You will execute SMAW, GMAW, GTAW as required, read drawings and welding specs, inspect welds, ensure quality, and adhere to HSE protocols.

This role requires high school or vocational welding training, physical fitness, willingness to work overtime, and readiness to operate welding equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or vocational certificate in welding.
• Experience as a pipe welder, preferably in oil & gas.
• Ability to read basic drawings and welding specs.
• Physically fit for terminal environment.
• NC II in SMAW/GTAW or relevant welding certification is a plus.

Pipe Welder – Filoil Logistics Corporation

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing welding and fabrication works on pipelines, tanks, structural components, and other mechanical equipment within the petroleum terminal. Ensures all welding activities are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with company standards and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding activities on pipes, pipelines, fittings, supports, and other metal components.

• Conduct SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or other applicable welding processes depending on project requirements.

• Read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Perform pipe fitting, cutting, grinding, and fabrication as required.

• Inspect welds for defects and ensure proper quality and alignment.

• Repair damaged or defective welds and piping components.

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of piping systems.

• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of welding machines, tools, and equipment.

• Follow proper welding procedures, PPE requirements, and terminal safety protocols.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with company HSE policies.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate / Vocational Graduate in Welding or related field.

• With relevant experience as a Pipe Welder, preferably in oil & gas, petroleum, industrial, or terminal operations.

• Knowledgeable in pipe welding, fabrication, and fitting.

• Able to read basic technical drawings and welding specifications.

• Must be physically fit and willing to work in a petroleum terminal environment.

• NC II in SMAW/GTAW or relevant welding certification is an advantage.

• Willing to work overtime, shifts, and/or during emergency maintenance activities when required.
