Job summary

Sean Andrew Engineering Services in the Philippines is seeking a Fire Pro Pipe Welder to lay out, cut, fit and weld steel pipes and structural components for automatic fire sprinkler systems, hydrants, and standpipe lines based on engineering blueprints.

You will read isometrics, weld with SMAW, and ensure safety and leak testing readiness. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years experience in fire protection piping and holds TESDA SMAW NC I or NC II.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years welding fire protection or high-pressure piping systems.
• TESDA SMAW NC I or NC II certification is a strong plus.
• Proficient with welding machines, grinders, torches and pipe-fitting tools.

Responsibilities

• Weld fire protection pipe networks and fittings using SMAW.
• Read isometrics and layouts to cut and align pipes.
• Ensure safety standards and prep joints for leak testing.

The Fire Pro Pipe Welder will lay out, cut, fit, and weld steel pipes and structural components specifically for automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, and wet/dry standpipe lines based on engineering blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipe Welding: Perform high-quality Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) on fire protection pipe networks, fittings, and overhead brackets.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret isometric drawings and fire protection layouts to cut and align pipes accurately.
• Safety & Testing: Maintain strict structural safety standards and prepare joints to withstand high-pressure leak testing.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of actual experience welding fire protection or high-pressure piping systems.
• Certifications: TESDA SMAW NC I or NC II is a major advantage.
• Skills: Proficient in using welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and standard pipe-fitting tools
