Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy.
• At least one year of practical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers patient inquiries, phone inquiries, and schedules patient consultations and treatments.
• Organize patient charts and maintains the general work area clean.
• Prepare daily charge slips, HMO approvals and input them in the system; updates census and income data of the department.
• Assists in requesting supplies for the department.
• Greets patients and notifies PT staff of patient arrival.
• Maintains adequate rehab forms.
• Assists in preparation of patient treatment area, patient lifting and patient transfer under direct supervision of PT if necessary.
• Assists in patient treatment as instructed by the PT staff in-charge.
• Performs weekly inventory of the department's equipment and machines.
• Types and prints PT documents and ensures the signatories needed for each document.
