Job summary

Tasq Staffing Solutions in the Philippines is seeking a PH-based US Accounting Manager to work from home and oversee core US accounting functions for a US-based client.

You will lead AP/AR, payroll, GL, budgeting, and audits, ensuring US GAAP compliance while guiding a small team and coordinating with external auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of US-based accounting experience, including 2 in a lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP fundamentals.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience supporting payroll and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an Individual Contributor handling AP, AR, Payroll, GL, Taxation, and related tasks for a US-based company.
• Manage workload distribution, ensure timely completion, coach and provide feedback.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes with journal entries and reconciliations per US GAAP.
• Review reconciliations, maintain fixed asset sub-ledger, and oversee purchasing cycles.
• Support external audits, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls improvements.
• Ensure payroll compliance and respond to financial data inquiries from management.

Position Requirements:
