Job summary

Pooch Park in Pasig, Philippines is seeking a dog grooming assistant to support the Store Team with grooming tasks, bathing, nail trimming, and client requests while ensuring pets are safe and comfortable. The role involves detangling hair, brushing teeth, and maintaining grooming equipment and a clean work area.

You will follow owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles and assist other branches when needed.

• Must not be afraid of dogs.
• Must be able to handle frustration and remain calm when dealing with difficult pets.
• Willingness to assist grooming tasks and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance in dematting and detangling hair as required.
• Provides assistance in bathing, conditioning, and drying pets.
• Provides assistance in trimming pets’ nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears.
• Provides assistance in grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Provides assistance in ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
• Provides assistance in ensuring work area is always clean.
• Provides assistance in ensuring grooming equipment is well maintained and cleaned.
