Job description

Responsibilities

• Bathing and Shampooing: Clean pets thoroughly using appropriate shampoos and conditioners.
• Brushing and Combing: Detangle and remove mats from pets’ coats.
• Trimming and Haircuts: Cut fur to appropriate lengths based on breed standards or client preferences.
• Nail Care: Trim pets’ nails to prevent overgrowth or injury.
• Ear Cleaning: Clean ears and check for signs of infection or discomfort.
• Experience with Animals: Knowledge of animal behavior and comfort with handling pets of various temperaments.
• Physical Stamina: Grooming can require long hours of standing, bending, and lifting pets.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to carefully follow grooming instructions and ensure a polished finish.
• Customer Service: Good communication skills to interact with pet owners and explain grooming needs or potential issues.
