Calamba Medical Center in the Philippines seeks a PET-CT Scan Nurse (Nuclear Medicine Department) to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing PET-CT procedures. You will prepare patients, monitor them during imaging, coordinate with the imaging team and ensure comfort and safety throughout the diagnostic process.

Formación

• Graduate of BSN and PRC-licensed registered nurse.
• At least 1 year clinical or hospital experience is an advantage.
• Experience in radiology, nuclear medicine, oncology, or diagnostic imaging is preferred.
• Basic life support and emergency response knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and prepare patients prior to PET-CT scan procedures.
• Explain procedures, preparation instructions, and post-scan care to patients and families.
• Monitor patients’ condition before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety and infection control compliance.
• Assist radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and technologists as needed.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and patient records.
• Observe for adverse reactions and respond during emergencies.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow for efficient operations.
