Qualifications

Qualification in nuclear medicine technology or a related discipline.
CNMT certification is highly desirable.
3+ years of professional experience with nuclear medicine imaging systems or related technologies.
Strong knowledge of SPECT and PET systems.
Proficiency with nuclear medicine software applications and imaging workstations.
Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and QA standards.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain nuclear medicine imaging systems and software to ensure optimal performance.
Provide technical training and support to clinical and operational staff.
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors/engineers to resolve malfunctions.
Develop and implement SOPs and QA protocols for nuclear medicine applications.
Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to optimize imaging protocols and workflow.
Calibrate, validate, and test systems to meet regulatory standards.
Provide input on equipment procurement and upgrades.
Document configurations and maintenance activities; generate technical reports.
Stay updated on advancements and regulatory requirements.
