Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing company as a Pest Control technician or Officer.
• Relevant training in Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) Accreditation, Integrated Pest Management Training, Pesticide Safety Training, Good Agricultural Practices, or food safety training.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily pest control activities, ensuring adherence to scheduled and compliance with SOPs and company regulations.
• Monitor daily activities of Pest Control Technicians.
• Check all monthly monitoring reports.
• Check inventory of pest control consumables and chemicals.
• Conduct basic pest control training for employees.
• Conduct facility pest control audits.
• Prepare monthly trend analysis reports.
• Determine appropriate treatment types to eliminate and prevent pest infestations.
• Review and update pest control procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Check or update MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and CPR (Certificate of Product Registration) for pest control chemicals.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Attend relevant training sessions and seminars mandated by the company.

Required Skills / Competencies

• Proficient in MS Office
• With Good communication skills
• Must have a Certified pesticide Applicator-Fumigator from Fertilizer and Pesticides Authority under Department of Agriculture
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Entomology, Biology, Environmental Science, or agriculture related studies.
• At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing company as a Pest Control technician or Officer
