Job summary

Talent Global LLC is seeking a Performance Video Editor to join a fast-growing U.S.-based DTC/e-commerce brand. This fully remote, full-time role centers on creating short-form ads for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok, with emphasis on attention, engagement, and conversions.

You’ll edit scripts and creator/UGC footage, develop hooks and pacing, manage assets, and collaborate with marketing teams to iterate based on performance data.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience editing direct-response or performance marketing ads.
• Experience working with DTC or e-commerce brands.
• Strong short-form creative principles: hooks, pacing, retention, storytelling, and conversion-focused editing.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or similar tools.
• Strong typography, color theory, composition, and motion graphics.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely with deadlines and independent time management.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and iterating quickly.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video ads for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Turn scripts and footage into compelling narratives.
• Create hooks, pacing, transitions, captions, and visual patterns to maintain attention.
• Adapt concepts into multiple variations for testing.
• Source and organize relevant B-roll and stock footage.
• Edit content according to platform-specific formats and best practices.
• Use performance insights to iterate and improve future edits.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams and incorporate feedback.
