Performance Test Lead

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong experience in performance testing methodologies, JMeter scripting, test execution, analysis, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) gathering. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests for the Hyundai Capital Dealer Portal, identifying performance bottlenecks, and providing recommendations to ensure system scalability, reliability, and optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Test Scripting

Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
Simulate real-world dealer portal user workflows and business transactions.
Create reusable and scalable test frameworks.
Parameterize, correlate, and enhance scripts to accurately emulate production user behavior.

Performance Test Execution

Plan and execute various performance test types, including: Load Testing Stress Testing Spike Testing Soak/Endurance Testing Volume Testing. Monitor application and infrastructure performance during test execution. Validate system stability, scalability, and responsiveness under varying workloads.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

Analyze performance test results and identify application, database, middleware, and infrastructure bottlenecks. Correlate findings using logs and monitoring tools. Provide actionable recommendations to development and infrastructure teams. Prepare detailed performance test reports and stakeholder presentations.

Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) Management

Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather and define performance-related NFRs. Translate business expectations into measurable performance targets such as: Response Time Throughput Concurrent Users Resource Utilization Availability and Reliability. Ensure test scenarios align with NFR objectives and production usage patterns.
