Homey Philippines is seeking a creative and performance-driven Performance Ads Scriptwriter who crafts scroll-stopping video ad scripts for Meta, TikTok, and short-form e-commerce content.

You will develop hooks, angles, and scene-by-scene directions, collaborate with the Creative Director and editors, and use AI tools to speed research while keeping a human brand voice.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze target audiences, reviews, competitor ads and trends to uncover fresh angles.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate research while maintaining a natural, brand-aligned voice.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, Videographer, and Editors to refine scripts based on ad performance metrics.

About the role

We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Performance Ads Scriptwriter who knows how to craft scroll-stopping video ad scripts that turn casual viewers into paying customers. You will be creating compelling visual stories, hooks, and angles for Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and short-form e-commerce content.

Key responsibilities

• Write converting video ad scripts (hooks, pain points, product benefits, proof, and Call-To-Action) and provide scene-by-scene visual direction for video editors

• Create multiple 1-3 second hook variations and creative concepts (UGC-style, problem-solution, testimonials, comparisons) to continuously test and scale winning ads

• Analyze target audiences, customer reviews, competitor ads, and social media trends to uncover fresh angles

• Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate research and ideation while maintaining a natural, human, and brand-aligned voice

• Work closely with the Creative Director, Videographer, and Video Editors to refine scripts based on ad performance metrics (CTR, Hook Rate, Conversion Rate)

About you

• Proven experience writing direct-response video ad scripts or short-form social media content

• Deep understanding of high-converting ad structures, storytelling, pacing, and emotional triggers

• Fluent in conversational English and Taglish

• Hands-on experience using AI tools for creative research and ideation

• Highly organized, open to feedback, and able to manage scripts across multiple product campaigns

• Experience in E-commerce, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads (nice to have)

• Familiarity with home, lifestyle, or consumer product markets (nice to have)
