Small Door is a membership-based veterinary care provider focused on high standards and pet wellbeing. We are expanding across major cities and seek nurses to join our state-of-the-art facilities with a 24/7 telehealth team. Massachusetts licensure is required to be eligible for this job.

You will work in a hospital with strong doctor:nurse staffing ratios, partake in Fear Free practices, and contribute to a diverse, inclusive workplace with a positive culture.

Responsibilities

• Triaging knowledge and ability to recognize medical emergencies and illnesses.
• Assessing patients and recording vitals, assisting doctors with diagnostics.
• Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor.
• Basic husbandry and nursing care.
• Monitoring changes in patients and providing compassionate care.
• Taking blood samples.
• Placing catheters.
• Assisting in radiography capture and preparing samples for labs.
• Running in-house labs and preparing medications.
• Administering medications.
• Maintaining a hospitable environment.

What you’ll do
