Job summary

Locad is offering an HR internship designed to immerse you in the full people function from day one. You’ll learn from senior HR leaders, contribute to real projects, and gain hands-on exposure across operations, recruitment, and communications.

This hybrid role fits students balancing academics and hands-on experience. You’ll work with a distributed, international team, with a standard 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PHT schedule and flexibility to align with your studies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an HR, Business, Psychology, or related program.
• Previous internship or leadership experience preferred.
• Genuine eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration with a distributed team worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR processes and help build a strong people foundation.
• Assist in sourcing, screening, and onboarding great people.
• Manage internal and external messaging across social media and employee channels.
• Plan and execute team events and engagement for a remote-first international workforce.
• Grow in end-to-end people operations within a growing logistics-tech company.

What you'll focus on

Our interns are part of the team from day one, learning from some of the industries top talent and leaders. You'll work alongside some of the industry's top HR and people operations talent, gaining hands‑on, end‑to‑end exposure across the full people function. Many of our former interns have gone on to join Locad full‑time, and this could be your stepping stone too.

You’ll build real, transferable skills across:

• People Operations — Support day-to-day HR processes and contribute to building a strong people foundation
• Employee Relations — Provide responsive support on staff concerns related to policies, benefits, and general people matters
• Talent Acquisition — Assist in sourcing, screening, and onboarding great people into the team
• Communications — Manage internal and external messaging across our social media platforms and employee channels
• Events & Engagement — Plan and execute team events and research meaningful engagement and benefits initiatives for our remote‑first international workforce
• Learning & Development — Grow in a safe environment where curiosity is encouraged and mistakes are part of the process

You'll work in a hybrid setup with a standard schedule of 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PHT. Nonetheless, we're happy to align on a working arrangement that fits your academic commitments.

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an HR, Business, Psychology, or related program
• Previous internship or leadership experience is highly preferred — we want people who've already taken initiative
• A genuine eagerness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced, people‑first environment
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to work with a distributed team worldwide
