EY- Global Delivery Services (GDS) – People Consulting (PC) - Core HR – Dayforce Senior Consultant
The Opportunity
We are looking for Senior Consultants with expertise in Dayforce Core HR to join the GDS PC team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading global professional services organisation whilst being instrumental in the growth of the GDS PC team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Dayforce HR Core, including employee records, organizational structure, position management, and related HR components
- Assist with related functional areas commonly tied to Core HR such as Payroll, Benefits, GL, and Integrations
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional Dayforce Core HR solutions
- Build workflows, forms (XML), and HR process automations aligned with best practices
- Lead configuration of Core HR components including organizational hierarchies, employment lifecycle processes, and HR policy settings
- Participate in full life cycle activities (Discovery, Design, Configuration, Build, Testing, Knowledge Transfer, Migration and Postproduction Support)
- Ensure solution design aligns with compliance needs, operational efficiency, and Dayforce functionality limits
- Ensure data integrity during implementation and go live cutover phases
- Write and execute test cases for SIT, UAT and resolve Core HR related issues
- Oversee end‑to‑end testing across HR processes and integrations as part of the broader HCM implementation
- Serve in a client‑facing role, collaborating with HR teams, project managers, and technical partners
- Provide guidance, demos, and training sessions on Core HR functionality and best practices
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements or system enhancements related to Core HR workflows
- Support HR teams by ensuring Core HR configuration aligns with organizational policies and compliance requirements
- Support development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques and methodologies to build and enhance Workforce management service offerings within the practice
- Management and support EY initiatives within the practice
- Drive effective client communication, cadence and build relations with client and project team counterparts across global locations
- Responsible for decision‑making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution
- Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organisational goals

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 6 - 9 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Core HR (Organization Structure, Forms & Workflows, Work Assignments) consulting
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience of working in a consulting environment on global client projects
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Demonstrated technical proficiencies in WFM; a practical/business driven approach to solving complex global client challenges
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of end‑to‑end Work Force Management (Core HR) process
- Analytical abilities and knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Expertise in process mapping and documentation using Visio and other tools
- Expertise in creating SOP, process documentation and work instructions
- Certification in Dayforce-Core HR
- Exposure to work force transformation programs enabled by technology. Led or been part of a work stream in multi work stream transformation program
- Involved in policy review, current configuration assessments, vendor selections, designing processes and strategies at global level, global implementation support
- Hands on experience in process automation projects and RPA
- Experience and working knowledge of one or more global payroll platforms such as ADP, SAP, Workday, Oracle/PeopleSoft products, is good to have
