Job summary

SEMEQ Asia is seeking a Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Technician to collect data for vibration, oil/grease analysis, thermographic inspections, ultrasound, and motor circuit testing. You will report findings to the PdM engineer and ensure documentation of all equipment data.

You must be willing to relocate to Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, Philippines, with 0–2 years in predictive maintenance and relevant TESDA/BOSH certifications. A safety-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• TESDA NC2 Electrical or Mechatronics certification is required.
• BOSH SO2 certification is required.
• Willing to be relocated to Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.
• 0-2 years of experience in predictive maintenance engineering.
• Must be located within commutable distance to Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in and around operating equipment in a plant environment. Immediately address, report, and resolve unsafe conditions and/or acts through appropriate channels. Comply with all plant safety and work procedures and policies.
• Perform field inspections, record data gathered, and report to the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) engineer immediately:
• Vibration Analysis – Collect data using the vibration data collector on the equipment registered in the routine.
• Oil and Grease Analysis – Collect oil and grease samples using the pump and hose following the standard working procedure.
• Mechanical Thermographic Inspection – Use a thermal scanner issued and record the temperature in the printed global plant report.
• Electrical Thermographic Inspection – Use a thermal scanner issued and record the temperature in the printed global plant report.
• Electrical Ultrasound – Inspect electrical posts and transformers using the ultrasound device and record detected faults.
• Motor Circuit Analysis – Perform test on main drives using motor circuit analysis machine.
• Ultrasound – Air Leak Inspection – Inspect air leaks on the plant using the ultrasound device and record detected faults
• Report the unregistered equipment in SEMEQ routine or system to the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) engineer.
• Report the sensitive inspections with fault to the to the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) engineer immediately.
• Clean the device and instruments used after usage.
• Proper handling and usage of device and instruments.
• Comply with the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) engineer’s directions and instructions.

Job description

The Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Technician is responsible to collect and gather the data for the techniques such as vibration analysis, oil and grease analysis, electrical and mechanical thermographic inspection, electrical ultrasound, motor circuit analysis, and ultrasound – air leak inspection using the issued instruments. Record the data collected and submit it to the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) engineer.

Must-have qualifications

• Technical Qualification such as TESDA NC2 Electrical or Mechatronics
• Certified in Basic Occupational Safety and Health for Safety Officer 2 (BOSH SO2)
• Willing to be relocated if necessary
• Willing to work on weekends or holidays if needed
• 0-2 years of experience in predictive maintenance engineering
• Must be located in commutable distance to Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
