  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of payroll operations experience, APAC exposure.
  • 2–3 years of leadership or team-leading experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, controls, compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing service delivery metrics and vendor management.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.

If you are a Payroll Operations Supervisor professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this gives you the chance to oversee payroll operations across assigned Asia Pacific (APAC) countries within an outsourced payroll environment. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between payroll vendors, Digital Human Capital Management (DHCM), and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll service delivery. You will lead payroll governance, vendor performance management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting a high-quality payroll experience for employees across the region.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead and oversee payroll operations across assigned APAC countries, ensuring payroll vendors deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services, including payroll interfaces, reconciliations, reporting, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor payroll performance, operational controls, service delivery, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure payroll obligations are completed in accordance with established standards.
  • Manage escalated payroll, compliance, and service-related issues, driving timely resolution through effective problem-solving and stakeholder coordination.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for business units, payroll vendors, and internal stakeholders while building strong partnerships that support excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, labor requirements, and statutory obligations across supported countries.
  • Lead payroll-related system enhancements, interface changes, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through clear expectations, ongoing feedback, knowledge sharing, and development opportunities.
  • Support strategic projects, vendor governance, workforce planning, management reporting, and initiatives that drive operational excellence and business objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of payroll operations experience, including APAC payroll exposure.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, payroll controls, statutory compliance requirements, and payroll vendor management.
  • Experience managing service delivery and operational performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Multi-country APAC payroll experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers is a plus.
  • Experience in Human Resource Information System, payroll implementation, or project management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Dayforce, SAP, Workday, or similar HCM platforms is a plus.
