Job summary

P&A Grant Thornton Philippines is seeking a Payroll Specialist to perform payroll procedures in line with engagement manuals and applicable laws.

The role requires understanding of payroll principles, taxation, and client processes, with hands-on use of Dorado Payroll System, Nexus, Office 365, and government portals. New graduates are welcome, and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel is needed.
• Ability to adjust to multiple engagement managers.

Responsibilities

• Understand payroll principles, taxation, and relevant laws sufficiently to perform the job.
• Review, update and understand the client’s standard payroll process or engagement manual.
• Execute procedures assigned by the Senior Payroll Specialist/Payroll Manager.
• Log and report issues and provide progress updates to superiors.
• Use Dorado Payroll System, Nexus, Office 365, and government portals; ensure deliverables are accurate.
