Job summary

Atturra Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join the Finance team on a permanent full-time basis in Makati City. The role involves accurate payroll processing, compliance, and employee support with close collaboration with HR and Finance.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in payroll, strong Excel and numerical skills, and familiarity with AUS/NZ payroll legislation and Modern Awards. Hybrid work arrangement with 4 days onsite and 1 day WFH weekly.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and financial reporting.
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and Modern Awards.
  • Experience using payroll systems (e.g., NetSuite OpenAir, Micropay) and Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and adjustments.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies e.g., PAYG, superannuation, Payroll Tax, etc.
  • Employee Support: Handle payroll queries and provide exceptional support to staff, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
  • Documentation, Reporting, and Audits: Maintain employee records in collaboration with People & Culture and Finance. Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Support month-end and year-end payroll reconciliations and assist with audits.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-orientated and organised Payroll Officer to join our collaborative Finance team on a permanent full-time capacity. This role will be based at our local vendor’s office located in Makati City.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and adjustments.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies e.g., PAYG, superannuation, Payroll Tax, etc.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

Working Conditions:
  • 4 days onsite in Ayala Makati with 1 day work from home weekly
  • 6am to 3pm Manila time shift
