Job summary

RecruitGo Careers in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our growing team. You will handle accurate and timely payroll processing for a portfolio of clients—including Philippine-based and global accounts—with strict adherence to local laws and internal SOPs.

With at least 2 years of payroll experience and strong knowledge of Philippine labor regulations, you will use Google Sheets and payroll software to deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ payroll processing experience in multi-client/shared services.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws; global payroll experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll per client timelines and SOPs.
• Review reports and coordinate with Finance for statutory submissions.
• Supervise payroll disbursements and ensure accurate pay slips.
• Compute annual taxes and handle BIR Form 2316 for resigned employees.
• Manage monthly statutory contributions and remittances (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
• Handle payroll inquiries from employees or clients.
• Coordinate with clients on end-to-end payroll implementation and issue resolution.
• Identify process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform other payroll-related tasks as assigned.

Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a portfolio of clients — including both Philippine-based and global accounts. You’ll ensure compliance with statutory requirements, maintain employee records, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality payroll services.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process monthly payroll in accordance with client timelines, service agreements, and internal SOPs.
• Review reconciliation reports and coordinate with Finance for statutory reports and other related tasks.
• Supervise payroll disbursements and ensure pay slips are accurately distributed.
• Prepare annual tax computations and handle BIR Form 2316 for resigned employees.
• Manage submission of monthly statutory contributions and remittances (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).
• Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees or clients, including basic HR-related concerns.
• Coordinate directly with clients on end-to-end payroll implementation and issue resolution.
• Identify process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform other payroll-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll processing within a shared services or multi-client setup.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements; experience in global payroll is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and payroll software applications.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism and discretion.
