Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in US or UK payroll operations, preferably in a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes, employee lifecycle, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Working knowledge of US or UK payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll process for US/UK employees, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery.
• Perform and review pre- and post-payroll reconciliations, reports and payroll data for accuracy and controls.
• Update employee compensation data including salary changes, promotions, and mass data updates.
• Prepare statutory reports, tax filings, and employee tax statements per regulations.
• Monitor payroll legislation and tax rules to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Collaborate with payroll vendors to resolve issues and implement system updates.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Benefits and other stakeholders on payroll data.
• Support internal and external payroll audits with required documentation.
• Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and payroll documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in payroll.

The role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll professional with strong expertise in US or UK payroll, employee lifecycle processes, payroll compliance, and reconciliations. The role will oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver efficient and reliable payroll services.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with HR systems and automation tools, and able to manage time-sensitive projects in a dynamic, global environment.

++Your Responsibilities:++

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process for employees across the US or UK, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery.
• Perform and review pre- and post-payroll reconciliations, reports, and payroll-related data to ensure accuracy and proper financial controls.
• Manage employee compensation updates, including salary changes, promotions, job changes, and mass data updates for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Prepare and coordinate statutory reports, tax filings, and employee tax statements in line with applicable regulations.
• Monitor changes in payroll legislation, tax requirements, and employment regulations and ensure processes remain compliant.
• Partner with payroll vendors and service providers to resolve issues, manage system updates, and improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Benefits, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.
• Support internal and external payroll audits and compliance reviews by providing required documentation and reports.
• Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and payroll documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within payroll and HR processes.
• Manage time-sensitive projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, global environment.

++What we’re looking for:++

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in US or UK payroll operations, preferably within a global or multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes, employee lifecycle, payroll reconciliations, and compliance.
• Working knowledge of US or UK payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Experience working with payroll vendors, HR systems, and ticketing platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle or similar HR/payroll systems
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to create and maintain process documentation and process maps.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work effectively in a dynamic, global environment.
