Responsibilities

• Performs payroll checking and processes staff time records.
• Collaborates with accounting/finance for reports and entries.
• Oversees HRIS system monitoring and maintenance.
• Interprets company policies and regulations affecting payroll tax issues.
• Reviews personnel records to verify names, pay rates, and positions.
• Corrects payroll errors and addresses employee complaints.
• Responds to unemployment claims and notifications from state agencies.
• Ensures QMS standards are implemented, monitored, and documented.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
• Checks employee last pay before submission to finance.
• Coordinates between HR and payroll for HRIS implementation.
