Job summary

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited is seeking an Advisor - Payroll Enablement to support payroll enablement activities, monitor India pay-impacting changes, and deliver payroll fixes and system enhancements. You will collaborate with Technology, Finance, and HR teams to drive payroll initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 6–8 years in payroll operations or transformation, with a strong understanding of payroll systems and India regulations.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in payroll operations, systems or transformation.
• Strong technical understanding of payroll delivery and India payroll regulations.
• Broad domain understanding of payroll in financial services and risk/change management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor India pay-impact changes to ensure tax and policy compliance.
• Coordinate payroll incidents with Technology and Payroll teams for timely resolution.
• Lead payroll changes, fixes and system enhancements with minimal disruption.
• Define and implement payroll change requirements per business and regulatory needs.
• Perform release testing for payroll system updates to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Benefits, and external payroll vendors.
• Support payroll operations with issue investigation and reconciliation.
