Job summary

Coins.ph in Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines is hiring a Payments Operations Associate to process and monitor daily transactions, including PESONet and InstaPay, in a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor daily transactions, including PESONet and InstaPay transfer.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Monitor dashboards and alerts to flag unusual transaction activity or system issues, escalating as needed.
• Support reconciliation activities by validating transaction records against partner and bank reports, and following up on unmatched or pending items.
• Assist with exception handling and basic settlement tasks, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with banks, e-wallets, and payment partners on routine day-to-day operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily operational activities, incidents, and resolutions.
• Support testing and validation efforts for new payment features, partners, or process changes.
• Follow internal controls, compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures related to fiat money movement and customer transactions.

What you ll do

• Process and monitor daily transactions, including PESONet and InstaPay transfer.
• Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of any discrepancies.
• Monitor dashboards and alerts to flag unusual transaction activity or system issues, escalating to the appropriate team when needed.
• Support reconciliation activities by validating transaction records against partner and bank reports, and following up on unmatched or pending items.
• Assist with exception handling and basic settlement tasks, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with banks, e-wallets, and payment partners on routine day-to-day operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily operational activities, incidents, and resolutions.
• Support testing and validation efforts for new payment features, partners, or process changes.
• Follow internal controls, compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures related to fiat money movement and customer transactions.
• Perform ad hoc tasks and assist with smaller-scale projects under the broader Coins.ph Payments Operations initiatives.

What we expect from you

• 1-3 years of experience in payments operations, banking operations, fintech, or transaction processing roles.
• Exposure to or familiarity with PESONet and InstaPay payment rails is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Operations, or similar).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Google Suite, Excel, and operational dashboards.
• Good communication skills in both English and Filipino.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to streamline operational workflows, automate routine tasks, and enhance overall efficiency preferred.
