Amazon seeks candidates for the Pathways Leadership Internship in Operations, a 10–12 week full-time program designed to develop future Senior Operations Managers. The role offers hands-on leadership, cross-site exposure, and mentoring within a fast-paced logistics network.

Successful interns may be evaluated for the full-time Pathways program in 2028. Visa/work permit constraints may affect start dates; relocation and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in MBA/MSc/MEng/PhD and available for 10–12 weeks between June and September to work full time.
• 3+ years of complex professional experience with responsibility for project management and delivery.
• Very good command of Spanish (CEFR B2) and English at the time of application.
• Experience in leading projects or teams.
• Professional experience in engineering, management, logistics, manufacturing, science or any STEM field.
• Flexible to work in non-traditional shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
• Open to relocate within the country you have applied to work within.
• Analytical skills and sound business judgment.
• Delivered complex projects engaging teams and leadership to deliver on business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects which could impact safety, productivity, quality and customer experience.
• Develop standard operating procedures.
• Direct accountability for setting and meeting operational goals.
• Scope and design standardized concepts.
• Shadow leaders across operations to learn what it takes to be a manager at Amazon.
• With support from management, lead large teams across different shifts.
• Learn how leaders conduct weekly business reviews and assist in preparation of reviews.
• Collaborate with senior management and support teams to meet business objectives.
