Two vacancies exist for permanent positions. The incumbent will work within the Utility Model Examination Division, ensuring timely and accurate patent decisions in compliance with RA 8293 and IP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to IP/Patents.
• Four hours of relevant training.
• One year of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Examine patent applications and study the subject matter.
• Perform formality examination per IP Code, IRR, and guidelines.
• Evaluate novelty, inventive step, and industrial applicability.
• Conduct preliminary patent searches and classify applications.
• Prepare search/examination reports and notices.
• Recommend grants or rejections based on patentability.
• Monitor case status and coordinate with divisions.
