Vikings Group of Companies, a leading Philippines restaurant group, is seeking a Chef de Partie – Pastry for Vikings SM La Union. You will oversee the pastry section, ensuring quality and presentation of pastries, cakes, and tarts, while managing ingredients and sanitation.

Responsibilities include scratch-baked production, inventory control, and coordinating with kitchen staff for menu items and events. Immediate start and on-site work required.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably pastry/baking.
• Proficient in pastries from scratch: sourdough, cakes, cookies, tarts.
• Knowledge of icing, meringue, and pastry decorations.
• Strong baking techniques, measurements, and quality control.
• Ability to manage ingredient inventory and proper storage.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work with kitchen staff and management to coordinate items/events.
• Willing to work on-site and on flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Willing and able to start immediately.
• Willing to be assigned to Vikings SM La Union.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily pastry section operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation of pastries and baked goods.
• Prepare a variety of baked products from scratch and manage ingredients and inventory.
• Maintain proper food storage, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate menu offerings and events.
