Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) seeks a part-time Tutor: Holy Spirit to support high school and GED students. Rewarding role involves assisting with homework, tracking progress, and reporting weekly results.

Qualifications

• Highly Qualified in Math required for one vacancy.
• Preference for applicants studying toward a degree in education or a related subject area.
• Experience working with at-risk students is preferred.
• Effective interpersonal relationship skills are important.
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with homeless children across grades.

Responsibilities

• Assist youth with high school and middle school homework.
• Monitor grades weekly via EdEase and by contacting teachers.
• Tutor youth working on GED and monitor progress.
• Provide weekly progress reports on all residents.
• Enforce study hours and maintain order during study hours.
