Job summary

Gruba Guzman Law Firm seeks a diligent Paralegal to assist our lawyers and clients in a range of legal and administrative matters. You will draft legal documents, support docketing, and help coordinate with courts, clients, and other offices.

The ideal candidate has strong computer literacy (Word and Excel) and prior experience in a legal setting. Applicants with such background will be prioritized, and you should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting legal documents for law firms or legal departments.
• Experience working in a legal setting prioritized.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.

The Paralegal shall assist the Firm's lawyers and clients in various legal and administrative matters including, but not limited to, the following:

• Drafting of legal documents as may be required by the Firm’s lawyers and/or clients
• Management and liaison between the Firm's lawyers and other legal staff
• Coordination with clients, courts, and other public and private offices
• Documentation, docketing and processing of documents- Computer literate; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
• Applicants with prior experience working in a legal setting (law office or legal department) or in handling, drafting, and processing legal documents will be prioritized.
