Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join the Infrastructure Managed Services Team in Pasig. The role focuses on incident resolution, service requests, and managing WAN/LAN for diverse clients.

You will troubleshoot with advanced analytics, monitor security and performance, and document network configurations. Opportunities for growth and upskilling are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer/Information Science, technical college, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years progressive experience in networking.
• Demonstrated associate to professional level technology and support experience for route/switch, security, wireless, etc. Certifications desired.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with monitoring and management of SD-WAN solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot WAN and LAN connections for multiple clients.
• Use remote monitoring tools and protocol analyzers to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network problems, including WAPs and controllers.
• Perform advanced, complex network analysis, identify problems, and determine solutions.
• Recommend enhancements to the network that will improve quality, performance, security, and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation of networks and network systems.
• Follow project methodologies to complete assigned tasks.

About the role

As a network engineer within Insight’s Infrastructure Managed Services Team, your primary role will be a Network Engineer on diverse and challenging customer projects. You will be a member of a team responsible for incident resolution and service request handling for a wide variety of networking technologies.

As a Network Engineer you will:

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot WAN and LAN connections for multiple clients.
• Use remote monitoring tools and protocol analyzers to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network problems, including WAPs and controllers.
• Perform advanced, complex network analysis, identify problems, and determine solutions.
• Recommend enhancements to the network that will improve the quality, performance, security, and reliability of the network.
• Creates and maintains documentation of networks and network systems.
• Follows project methodologies to complete assigned tasks..

What we’re looking for
