Job summary

BillEase is seeking an Area Sales Manager (Palawan) to lead regional field sales, manage supervisors and training teams, and drive merchant growth across assigned territories in the Philippines. You will oversee risk/compliance and align with HQ on strategy while traveling extensively to maximize coverage and performance.

The role emphasizes coaching, KPI-driven leadership, and strong collaboration with Sales, Risk, Marketing, and Operations to meet targets and ensure ethical selling practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in consumer finance, fintech, retail, payments, or related industries.
• Proven experience managing multi-layered field sales teams.
• Data-driven and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Own regional sales targets, including disbursements, applications, merchant activations, and repeat usage.
• Lead Area Supervisors, Sales Field Risk Officers, and Sales Field Trainers.
• Set team KPIs and drive performance through regular reviews, coaching, and field visits.
• Ensure deployment of Sales Team Leaders and Promoters across stores, malls, and activations.
• Drive merchant acquisition, engagement, and productivity across retail and regional partners.
• Optimize territory coverage and expansion into high-potential areas.
• Oversee field risk and compliance, ensuring proper customer verification and ethical selling.
• Lead training initiatives to improve team capability, conversion, and productivity.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Risk, Marketing, Operations, and HQ teams to resolve issues and improve regional performance.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, productivity, risk, manpower, and training performance.
• Willing to travel extensively across assigned territories.
