A Painter is responsible for applying paint, stain, or other finishes to surfaces, ensuring a high-quality and durable finish. Painters work in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning to ensure a smooth and even base for painting.
• Fill holes, cracks, and imperfections with appropriate materials (e.g., caulk, putty) and smooth out surfaces as necessary.
• Protect areas not to be painted, such as floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures, using drop cloths, painter’s tape, or masking materials.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to achieve the desired color and texture.
• Apply multiple coats of paint or stain as needed for proper coverage and durability.
