Job Summary

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching holes, and applying primers or sealants.
Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, lacquers, or other finishes according to specifications.
Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures using drop cloths, masking tape, and protective coverings.
Operate and maintain painting tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding.
Apply coats of paint, ensuring uniformity and adherence to required thickness and finish.
Perform touch-ups and retouching of defective areas for a smooth, professional finish.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of paints, thinners, and other chemicals.
Follow safety protocols and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).
Assist in estimating paint and material requirements for each project.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.

Qualifications

At least High School Graduate (Vocational or TESDA NC II in Painting Works preferred).
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in residential or commercial painting.
Knowledge of paint types, surface preparation techniques, and application methods.
Ability to operate painting tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely.
Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
Willing to work on flexible schedules, including weekends or holidays if required by project timelines.
